What’s your definition of love? I like the definition: “Love is Action.”

If you love somebody, you just do something for them, and you don’t make a big deal about it. No questions asked. And this definition perfectly describes Felix – a man who takes loving action in his personal and professional life. He’s helped me and my family in many moments of extreme crisis. Always with exceptional compassion, intelligence, skill and understanding.

He’s one of those extraordinary human beings that stretches himself so far to serve and be there for others, I worry that there’s little left over for himself. If he has a fault, it’s that he can’t say “no” to a person in need. He will always make whatever sacrifice is required: His time, money, or personal plans are put aside to be there to support, counsel, guide, and love.

The world needs more Felix.

And now his life is in jeopardy and his health severely compromised. I pray that someone out there who is as selfless as he is and considers taking the heroic step to donate the vital gift of a kidney for him — so the influence of his “Love in Action” may continue to ripple out into the world for a very long time to come.
